Our history

Chata Račková was built by Christians following the World War II but was taken under the state ownership immediately after it was finished in 1948. After the fall of the communist regime the retreat centre was returned to the church in 1994. Since then, Chata Račková has undergone major reconstruction. Beginning in July 2004 the retreat centre has been operated by IN Network Slovakia, n.o., which also runs the 3Pe Community Centre in Lučenec, the Gypsy Community Centre in Cinobaňa, publishes a devotional Chlieb náš každodenný (Our Daily Bread) and organises summer English camps.
Enjoy peaceful accommodation in Račková valley and gain unforgettable experience on hikes in the West and High Tatra Mountains, have lots of fun in water parks and going to other tourist attractions in the Tatras and the Liptov region.
